CRM-102 is a DIN-rail hotel relay for automatic lighting control in hotel rooms, staff accommodation and dormitories. It switches six lighting circuits through 10 A zero-cross outputs, controlled by six ON/OFF push-buttons and a MOFF (master off) button, and switches them off automatically after an adjustable delay once the room is empty, detected by a door contact with a motion detector or by a card switch. The operating mode and time delays are set with rotary switches and potentiometers on the front panel.
Key features
- Six normally open output contacts, 10 A/AC1, with zero-cross switching. The load is switched as the voltage crosses zero, which gives gentle switching and extends contact life, especially with LED luminaires and electronic ballasts.
- Six ON/OFF push-button inputs (one per output) and one MOFF button that controls all outputs. The buttons switch a safe DC 12 V from an internal source.
- Inputs for a CS card switch and an MC magnetic door contact (both potential-free) and for an MD motion detector (galvanically isolated, AC/DC 12–240 V). Each input can be set as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC).
- 10-position MODE switch: door contact + motion detector operation (modes 1–8) or card switch only (modes 9 and 10). Mode 10 can also be used as a test mode that needs no card switch.
- In door contact + motion detector operation, the relay detects when the last person has left the room. If a guest stays in the room without moving (for example while asleep), the next detected motion re-enables the lighting immediately, without any delay.
- Lights-off delay t1 adjustable from 1 to 60 min in 1-min steps; motion detector blocking time t2 adjustable from 0.5 to 120 s.
- All settings are made with rotary switches and potentiometers on the front panel.
- Green LED for supply voltage, red multifunction LED for the operating state and yellow LED when any output is closed.
- DIN rail mounting, 2 modules (90 x 35 x 64 mm).
